TRAINING FOR ORGANIZATIONS

This course is designed for the novice who would like to become familiar with the proper use of a compass and its components.

The course will also introduce some of the important features of maps and help you develop the necessary skills to read and interpret them.

Part of this course is outdoors allowing your group the adventure of orienteering in an unfamiliar environment.

At the end of this course you will have the ability and confidence to explore the wilderness and return home safe and sound. Whether you intend to canoe, hike, camp, snowmobile, fish, or hunt, this course will help you acquire the orienteering skills to make sound decisions wherever your adventuring may take you.
